IdleRye, a modern American restaurant, opened in Dallas' Deep Ellum neighborhood in June 2017.
PROJECT
Hutson Creative was hired to create buzz during the restaurant's grand opening period through public relations and social media.
RESPONSIBILITIES
I served as the account executive on this project. I crafted press releases and alerts, hand-pitched to the media, coordinated interviews and compiled coverage in monthly reports. On the social media side, I managed IdleRye's Facebook and Instagram, which included planning, writing and sharing posts as well as community management.
RESULTS
Over six months, my social media management led to the following key results:
Achieved an organic increase of Facebook followers from 50 to 750 (1,400% increase)
Facebook posts reached an average of 88,670 people per month
Achieved an organic increase of Instagram followers from 250 to 1,050 (320% increase)
Instagram posts resulted in an average of 1,566 engagements per month
Press hits included Zagat, Eater, D Magazine, Dallas Morning News, Dallas Business Journal, Dallas Observer, CultureMap and PaperCity
